__________________________ We live in rapidly changing, evolving times. We are discovering that the ways we have been are not the way we will be. The " quickening evolution" is a kind of awakening that is happening right now! You may have noticed it yourself. You may not. There is no doubt whatsoever that it is a reality. If you are visiting this site, it is clear that it is either something that you are questioning, something that is seeking to become part of your reality or it is already present and you are investigating ways in which to activate or engage. You are key to the Quickening Evolution. Everything is involved. You are key. For no other reason than recognition that you & I are witnessing existence in a way that we comprehend. You and I do not witness this existence as a tree, or as a cloud, but as a cognitive human being. Since the middle of the last century, much of the world has pursued the god of materialism. Companies taught profit above all else, people have been encouraged to connect with what they desire - everything they desire, and presume that it can be personally, individually owned. In the 1980's & 1990's this was pushed to it's limits, with assertions that "greed is good" and permanent, incessant, unfettered economic growth providing the answer to every ill. More of everything was touted as the path to true happiness. Recently, surveys have indicated that some of the wealthiest nations on Earth far less happy than nations that have less material wealth. People like you have come to question (or have always questioned) the value of the material, of consumerism, of the ownership of ever more of the limited resources of this Earth Mother we inhabit as having any validity in the expression of yourself as a "spark of creation". In this "quest" - ioning, you create the QUICKENING EVOLUTION. You dissolve the lines between Science & Mysticism. You embrace the inherent wisdom that calls for respect of all things, all made equal in this incredible creation, that is still being created every day. You question what role you are here to play. You recognise the beauty and the happiness in connecting with others experiencing this world in a similar way, and connecting with all of the elements of creation - for the wisdom of their perspective of creation. You embrace the reality that you are responsible for your part of creating this existence. You recognise that you are creating in every moment - and you can choose exactly what it is that you create. This is empowering & co-empowering. Deep down inside
It's likely you've begun to watch the TV less. You buy less than you once did. You shop less at shopping centres. You don't listen to the radio as much anymore. You buy more from local markets. You make efforts to be more environmentally aware & take steps to ensure your actions are more environmentally sensitive. You have some connection with other people who are talking about "community". You are not alone! You are not strange! You are the Quickening Evolution! Many individuals are choosing a new way of being in the world that is in closer harmony & balance with the Earth Mother on which we live. There are now literally millions of people across the globe that no longer accept the material, competitive, aggressive, dominating way of life that is touted by most of the media and by most of the world's politicians & power brokers. It is an exciting time of change & opportunity & transcendence. It is a time of new ways of being & discovering new potential in being human. It is the discovery & experiencing of new dimensions in what it is to be human. It is the Quickening Evolution and it is the harbinger of HOPE for the greatest beauty possible in this existence we all share. We are the ones we have been waiting for. If not you, who? We are the pioneers of a new consciousness, a new renaissance that will expand us and this magnificent place on which we live into realms beyond our current understanding. I welcome it with every ounce of my being. I open my soul to it. I call upon every one of us who senses this Quickening to embrace every part of all we can be and to stride courageously in this life as though we were completely unstoppable. Because we are completely unstoppable. We are the ones we have been waiting for. Existence is in our hands, and it could not possibly be in better hands. Live life in all possible ways; don't choose one thing against the other, and don't try to be in the middle. Don't try to balance yourself - balance is not something that can be cultivated. Balance is something that comes out of experiencing all the dimensions o flife. Balance is something that happens; it is not something that can be brought about through your efforts. If you bring it through your efforts it will be false, forced. And you will remain tense, you will not be relaxed, because how can a person who is trying to remain balanced in the middle be relaxed? You will always be afraid that if you relax you may start moving to the left or to the right. You are bound to remain uptight, and to be uptight is to miss the whole opportunity, the whole gift of life. Don't be uptight. Don't live life according to principles. Live life in its totality, drink life in its totality! Yes, sometimes it tastes bitter - so what? That taste of bitterness will make you capable of tasting its sweetness. You will be able to appreciate the sweetness only if you have tasted its bitterness. One who knows not how to cry will not know how to laugh, either. One who cannot enjoy a deep laughter, a belly laugh, that person's tears will be crocodile tears. They cannot be true, they cannot be authentic. I don't teach the middle way, I teach the total way. Then a balance comes of its own accord, and then that balance has tremendous beauty and grace. You have not forced it, it has simply come. By moving gracefully to the left, to the right, in the middle, slowly a balance comes to you because you remain so unidentified. When sadness comes, you know it will pass, and when happiness comes you know that will pass, too. Nothing remains; everything passes by. The only thing that always abides is your witnessing.
