Eight years ago I went to my first Chuluaqui Quodoushka, Sacred Sexuality workshop at a hall in Northern NSW.

It utterly changed my life – so I pleaded, begged & cajoled my way into going to Q2 a week later. The sponsor at that time, Sonia Weston, put up with a lot of pressure from me & found a way for me to attend. Now having attended 16 Q’s, I find myself in the role of sponsor for Australasia, finding ways for people to attend these amazing transformational workshops.

Funny thing is I had no idea that this would have such a profound effect on me. Something just said DO THIS! I found myself in a room full of people as terrified, mystified & ready to see what could happen as I was.

Quodoushka didn’t just change the way I viewed my sexuality – it changed the way I viewed & interacted with absolutely everything. It started with self, expanded to life & then everything & everyone else. There is nothing that could ever encourage me to return to a pre-Quodoushka life. I had the pleasure of attending Q1 & Q2 with a fabulous group of 60 people. What did I get out of it? Love, understanding, enquiry, knowledge, let go & acceptance of ones self. What I dug about the whole scene was the ceremonial aspect of the course & we had three beautiful facilitators with us. Chuluaqui Quodoushka is about freeing your life force energy, so you can be in your life & the world fully with your beauty, committed to making a difference on this planet with your unique Gift.

One of the most amazing things about Q1 is that it is the teachings that were given to the young people, before, during & after Rites of Passage (i.e. at time of puberty). It is basic knowledge given to teenagers, & it is never too late to learn.

Imagine before you started ejaculating, as a young man or menstruating as a young woman, learning about what it is - this male/female thing. To be taught about your amazing body & the beauty of ALL of it. Then, to be honoured by your community for that transition from boy to young man, girl to young woman. REALLY Honoured! Then to receive the gift, as a young man, of your Fire Woman, or as a young woman, your Fire Man.

Our teacher “Thunder Strikes” was brought up in this way. After his puberty Rites of Passage his fire woman was Martha Spins Fire. Much, much, older than him, married with at least 6 children - her gift was being able to teach young men how to honour their own body & life force energy, how to honour a woman, how to sexually connect with a woman, how to be in total alignment with the elements of creation, how to not give power away to a woman & the power of creation of his sexual energy especially when it was used in alignment with sacred law.
How he could birth anything he chose through honouring the gift of his seed & focus as a man. Honouring the 2 sacred laws.

Everything is born of the feminine sparked by the masculine, & that nothing should ever be done to harm the children . . . The water, the earth, the fire, the air & the child within.
This is the essence of Q1.
It is indeed, a Rites of passage, & so healing & fun because it is utterly & completely getting in your body. I am no longer a boy/girl . . . I am a man/woman. I am responsible 100% for my life & what I create every moment. It is an opportunity to experience the Rites of Passage for yourself. It is an opportunity to awaken the universe that you are & your full self-love & self-acceptance.

On the first night we create a safe foundation for the weekend. There is a Pipe ceremony to set intent. We make a series of specific agreements with the group . . . from confidentiality to self-care to no drugs or alcohol & also that there is no sexual intercourse in any Q1 exercise. We recommend couples do not have sexual intercourse even after hours, until after the program is finished.

Then each day, the staff, will teach specific medicine wheels about being human.

Each teaching session has an exercise to integrate into the body.
Each exercise is demonstrated fully by the staff.
You do the exercise with your partner, if you are attending with your partner. Or, if single, with another person who is also attending as a single. (Free Dancer)

At the beginning of each exercise you will sit with your partner & gift each other with a small medicine gift thanking them for doing that exercise with you. (even if you have been married for 55 years)

You will always make clear agreements with each other. How you do this is clearly demonstrated.

There are approximately 3-4 partner exercises during the program & a couple of individual exercises. (you do yourself.) There is also ceremony. The highly trained staff is there to support the experience of every participant. Every exercise is debriefed. Just as in everyday life, no one EVER does any part of the program they do not want to do. You can sit against the wall & watch for the entire experience if you want, & say & do nothing.

The beauty of Q1 is realizing, WOW! We are all in this together - no exceptions.

It is not a program about analysing or processing the past. It is about sharing wisdom that works to uncover your natural beauty as a mature sexual man, & as a mature sexual woman. It is not anything to do with the mechanics of positions or titillating techniques. This is a profoundly transformational healing program. By being in the space you will be guided to let go of the child & past referencing to shame, guilt & blame.

QUICKENING EVOLUTION – WHAT IS IT?
